Assalamu alaykum

 Have you ever thought….

Allah tests those so they become closer to Him in ways which we cannot even imagine?

Have you ever thought….

Allah tests those whom He loves?

Have you ever thought….

Allah is not in need of our prayers He is not in need of us, we are in dire need of Him?

Have you ever thought….

Why am I here?

Have you ever thought….

Why am I still alive?

Have you ever thought….

Just why me!?

Aasiyah, the wife of Fir’own (Pharoah). Her Eeman in Allah thrived under the shadow of someone that said, “I am your Lord, Most High!” When news reached Fir’own of his wife’s Eeman he beat her and commanded his guards to beat her. They took her out in the scalding noon heat, tied her hands and feet and beat her perpetually. Who did she turn to? She turned to Allah! She prayed, “My lord, build for me a home with you in Paradise and save me from Fir’own and his deeds and save me from the transgressing people.”

It was narrated that when she said this, the sky opened for her and she saw her home in Paradise. She smiled. The guards watched astonished, she’s being tortured and she smiles? Frustrated, Fir’own commanded a boulder to be brought and dropped on Aasiyah, to crush her to death. But Allah took her soul before the boulder was brought and she became an example for all the believing men and women till the end of time:

And Allah has set forth an example for those who believe: the wife of Fir’own – when she said, “My Lord, Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir’own and his deeds, and save me from the transgressing disbelieving people.” [Qur’an 66:11]

Have you ever woundered…

why the sky is so high and blue?
why I was created for You?
why we all cry, tears fall
yet none of us weep?

Have you ever thought…

that we are not alone
in this world of ours can we ever be apart?

Did you ever see…

A greater path for us to lead?
A most divine of all the creeds?

someone so devoted to thee?
a love so strong over mountains and trees?

Did you ever hear…

The sound breeze of the dunya,
a cry so loud you can never bear?

without a hope for no one to hold on to
to cling onto life without fear?

Did you know what I was to say
even if this soul has no one to share the day?

Did you ever wounder…..?

A tribute to my sisters whom I have left without word

You are remembered always within my slefish time with my Lord.

This sisterhood of ours is a blessing straight out of Jannah

With times I could have not lived without ya!

As the Sahabas brotherhood stregthened

with trails spent together their spirits never dampened.

we go through unique exprience you and I hababti,

This love just goes stronger loving you with all my heart so deeply.

Your shoulder has seen my tears,

Your eyes has shed the same tears,

Your feets have tred the same path

Along we walk togeteher on our Lord’s path

Togetether we were and together we will strive

For the good and bad as long as we are alive

To serve as One Ummah,

To be as sisters should

through trials and tribulations we will hold our heads up high

walking together hand in hand… You and I
