Asalamu alaykum

This is brilliant!

What is your ultimate destination? What is emaan? How do you increase this? How can you continue your motivation, do this for yourself… INVEST in YOU!

Many of us are a bit lost in how we can develop ourselves before Ramadhan, we have all read some hadiths, read the books, the audio, and this helps.

What about using something new?
The heart wheel journal is fantastic Mashallah, it is a way to help you be more organised in developing the most important relationship you will ever have, your relationship with Allah.
It was been developed by Sh Muhammad Alshareef, and is a great tool to use to help us have that edge this Ramadhan.

I have had a diary or journal for some time on and off, but this is ‘so cool’!

Listen to the audio and cheak it out.

A heart will ache, it will yearn, it will feel empty, sore, it will become bruised, will learn to heal, it will hate, but hide it,  it will crave for affection, it will love, adore, admire it will feel hurt, lost, confused, it will search forever, it will forever be on a journey.

Because it can and it will.

Sometimes we cannot help it.

We are not infalible.

Because we are human.

We will feel.

Because it is part of the trait of a beleiver.

A believer is loved and is lovable

It is the softness Allah has granted within us.

To fulfill our role in dunya.

To be the best, so we attain the best in akhirah.

To make us furtile for the halal love.

To please and to be pleased.

To fulfill part of our deen..

To enhance our wholeness.

To understand what it really means to be a woman/man.

It has been placed in out hearts.

It is part of our blueprint of a beleiver

It guide us towards Him.

He, Allah azawajal wants the best for us.

He is our Lord, Most Just and Wise. To Him belong the most beautiful names, which befit His Majesty. Our hearts are in His Hands, we are at His Mercy and Grace, walk towards Allah, for if you do He will run towards you at great speed!

Allahu Akbar! (Allah is the Greatest)

Allahu ‘Alam (Allah knows best)

Assalamu alaykum

Inshallah I may be going to this.

It will be a walk in the park 😉

Muslim Aid and Oxfam have teamed up for the Sunset Walk,

a short stroll with a big heart. It’s your chance to take part in the season of Ramadan. To make new friends as you walk and talk – and raise money to provide food for poor communities worldwide. It’s the most sociable and laid back fundraising you’ll ever do. And when the sun goes down, you’ll share a fabulously tasty meal at the London Central Mosque.

All the money you raise will go to a variety of food aid projects. Please download our poster for more details

To register online, visit the Oxfam website or alternatively download a registration form from this page.

Get involved

All you need to do is sign-up at Oxfam and pay a £5 deposit. You can sign up on the day – but it saves us money if you pre-register online. Tell family, friends, and others in your community. Encourage them to get involved too by going to our spread the word page.

The Route

The walk meanders through Mayfair and Hyde Park – finishing at the London Central Mosque, Park Road, Regent’s Park. (See online for route details).
You can join the four-mile walk along the route at several points (see below), but remember to get your application in as soon as possible so we know how many people are joining where. It’s better for us if you can register in advance via the website (it saves us money!), but you can also complete and post the registration form.

Start Points:

  • Start 1: Victoria Embankment Gardens (Embankment Tube Station) – 4 miles
  • Start 2: Berkley Square (Central Mayfair) – 3 miles
  • Start 3: Manchester Square gardens (Nr. Baker Street Tube Station) – 1 mile
  • Finish: London Central Mosque (Nr Regent’s Park)

Once you have completed the walk, there will be some fabulous food on offer when you reach the London Central Mosque, as well as a number of cultural events. Here’s the times-

  • 5.00pm First group sets off
  • 7.30pm Food is served at the London Central Mosque
  • 8.00pm Speeches and cultural events at the LCM

We’re asking every walker to raise at least £50, through sponsorship. The increasing costs of basics like rice, corn and wheat mean that the world’s poorest people are suffering most. Oxfam and Muslim Aid have already implemented many food and nutrition programmes across the world, and are committed to helping communities find solutions to food shortages. The funds raised will be divided equally by Muslim Aid and Oxfam and used to support this area of work.

So what are waiting for, Join Muslim Aid and Oxfam for a special stroll in the park!
