Assalamu alaykum

The way I see it, we all have a small part to play in this lonely ol’ world, not all of us can be doctors, lawyers or accountants! All of us have a small price to pay giving back to the ummah… one step at a time.

We can start by doing some voluntary work within the community. There is a host of opportunities out there, we just need to find the one we will be the most effective positive difference.

 Heres some of them…

Ansar Youth Project is an innovative social inclusion project based in the London Borough of Harrow, open to all young people between the ages of 11-16 years. We are currently recruiting Youth Workers between the ages of 18-28 years to join our team of volunteers to work at our Saturday Youth Club at Pinner Youth & Community Centre.

If you enjoy working with young people and feel you can make a difference to their lives, and are able to commit to all training programmes and a fortnightly shift of 6 hours, we want to hear from you. For a recruitment pack and application form, simply log on to our website and download the forms. Note that the deadline for applications is Monday 25th February 2008.
